Everyone was wearing mask and dancing so beautifully. A masquerade ball was the perfect place to meet my informant.
I spied her across the room. A vision in blue in a ever changing kaleidoscope of colors. As I made my way toward her I was bumped and tussled here and there by the myriad of dancers weaving their way around the ballroom.
At last I reached her, sweeping her into the crowd of dancers, we twirled and promenaded for a bit. Then I pulled her close, she smelled of roses. I whispered in her ear,"You said you had the answers I seek."
Before she could answer she was whisked out of my arms by another dancer. I grabbed for her hand and missed. A woman in a white dress wrapped her arm around my waist and pulled me into a dance. I tried to f…Read more >

🔹 1. The cotton candy sometimes looks like a pink star.
🔹 2. There is a weird kite. It maybe shaped like a butterfly.
🔹 3. Check the ground first. Lots of stuff is laying on the ground. Be sure and be very thorough. There are a lot more hiding places on the ground than you would think. Under the wagon. On stairs. Up close to hedges.

We have confirmed that a troll lives under the bridge at the Mill.
He likes to collect things in all modes including Morphs Mode.
You will see such things as a cloak, a child's chair, (he is a very small troll) an oar, the crystal, and sometimes someone leaves him a loaf of bread.
He is a music lover also. In Morphs Mode you will notice a guitar, or a violin depending on his mood.
Sometimes you will see a spoon stuck the side of the bridge, he gets lazy and doesn't want to do dishes.
Over all some of the things we have noticed.
🔸 1. The scroll is the hardest item to find.
🔸 2. The apron and other things like to hide behind windmill blade on the right side of the mill.
🔸 3. Several things like to hide inside the mill doorway. Including boot…Read more >
"Seeker of Darkwood," I inquired of the Mayor? "Please explain what that means?"
"A official Seeker is one who is gifted with the ability to find any object no matter how rare, but more than that I believe you are the one who will be able to defeat the Curse."
"That's great and all but I just want regain my memories and get home."
"And just how do you propose to do that", the Mayor chuckled? "There are great advantages working for me and the city."
"Such as, all my employees get free room and board, in addition to monetary compensation."
"Again that's great and all, but Helen has already offered me a place to stay in exchange for helping you."
The Mayor smiled an almost catlike smile. I didn't quite like it. His next words had Helen an…Read more >
Just a quick note that Habrish uses swear words from time to time. Since that is not allowed on this site. When Habrish feels the needs to express himself vocally with the occasional swear word you will see this 🤬🤬🤬 instead.

I’m turning my map black as I open up HO rooms, not waiting until later when I’m done with the quests. I found that leveling new HO rooms ad hoc made them more difficult to “learn.” Concentrating on only a couple of rooms at a time makes them easier to learn, faster to complete, and ultimately require less tools. (It’s good to visit “old” rooms every once in a while, as I’ve noticed that my memory fades after a couple of weeks without playing a leveled room.)
I thought keeping a blog would be interesting to track my progress and also let any friends who happen to see this know where I am. Edit: I’m blog illiterate lol. I’m posting my status via the comments below, which is probably not how blogs are supposed to work. ;)Read more >
Every fiber of my being was drawing me towards a brown bag on the floor next to the Mayors desk. As if by it's own violation my hand reached into the bag pulling out a small green bottle of smelling salts.
I quickly passed the bottle off to Helen. With trembling hands she popped the top as she made her way to the Mayor. No sooner had she glided the bottle under his nose than he came to with a start, punching and kicking like a deranged donkey.
I barely had time to grab Helen and pull her out of harms way before the Mayor would have hit her square in the jaw. I was in such a rush to save Helen from the impending punch that I landed on a chair. Helen on the other hand landed on me with a thud that took my breath away for two reasons. One was t…Read more >
I am hoping to have another Habrish Diaries Blog Post out soon. October is super busy for us. We have already had 2 Anniversaries. Tomorrow is our granddaughters 3rd birthday. I love seekers note. I’m truly addicted but more so to wiki then the game. I was becoming disillusioned with the game. I found the price of everything in the game going up and game time if I didn’t want to break the bank about 15 minutes or so. There is a lot of things right in sn but like all companies they need money to survive. A lot of people have assured me there are a lot worse companies and I can believe that. I just wanted to give a round of applause to all the wiki friends who have made the game enjoyable again. I treasure all of you. "I have to say I was really alarmed to find you sleeping on the bench earlier," Helen admitted.
I raised an eyebrow in inquiry. "Go on," I suggested.
"Yes. You are the first person to come to Darkwood since the mist appeared."
"How long has that been," I questioned?
This was something I really wanted to know. How could a whole town be cut off from everyone and no one seem to know about it? The paper it said 1915. Why did that seem so wrong to me? My head began to throb, I shook it off. Whatever was going on here I was now a part of it. I needed answers just as much as this town.
"About that," Helen began, "I am not sure how long the mist has been around. In fact no one is really sure."
"What do you mean, you don't know?"

"So you're awake," the blue lady stated. "I'm Helen."
"I need to get out of here Helen. Can you help me?"
"I afraid that's not possible, this city is cursed no one can leave."
A cursed city? How did I get here? An even better question why was I here? Questions so many question racing through my head. Thinking to much. A flash of memory. That damn blue dress! What was it about that blue dress?! To much thinking leads to...Pain! I grabbed my head trying not to cry out. A cold sweat came over me. I had to get out of here. I ran at the gate full force. BAM! I was knocked about 20 feet backwards.
I sat up dazed. Helen was looking at me with a bemused and yet somehow sympathetic expression.

The Habrish Diaries Entry 2
I awoke again. A newspaper was covering my face. Where did it come from? I sat up warily. Slowly taking in my surroundings. I was at what appeared to an abonded train station. A flash of memory. A woman in a blue dress. Was she real? She wasn't here now.
I took a closer look at the newspaper that was now in my hand. Darkwood Times April 16, 1915. 1915? That didn't seem right. The year was...Pain...pain... I decied to forget about the year for now and read some more of the newspaper. A story taking up the front entire front page was about a strange mist that had engulped the city. Was this mist connected to the fog that led me here? Pain...pain... Everything went fuzzy. I was going to pass out again. D🤬🤬🤬it!Read more >

A train station. How did I get here? Where was everyone else? The place looked abandoned. Items were shrewn all over. Not another living soul to be seen. Odd. So odd.
Questions, so many questions.

Excerpt from the Habrish Diaries
The second I set foot in the Alley I knew it was a trap. Everything went dark. I nearly tripped over a tricycle on the stairs. I threw up magic lantern, the sudden flash of light temporally blinding me. My eyes adjusted just in time to avoid the dog statuette that came crashing down from the balcony above me. That was close!
Looking up from where the statuette fell I could see an open window with the curtains moving, was that from the wind or something more ominous? Was someone just there pushing that statuette off the balcony?
My magic lantern wore out so I used my flashlight to finish looking around. There were other objects on the balcony: cat statuette, gnome, guitar, rocking horse and a bas-relie…Read more >

I really love this place and have been coming in since it opened. I had the hugest crush😍 on the daughter of the owner but when the clock🕰️ tower opened up next door, the clock🕰️ masters appetence got her pregnant🤰🏽 and I never saw her again. Maybe it was the Mist?🤔😥

💠 Does Candy World have a wiki page? ✔️ Yes it does, and although it is not 100% complete is very helpful. https://seekers-notes.wikia.com/wiki/Candy_World
💠 Does Candy World have different versions of pictures? ✔️ The wiki page will tell you that it has 2. This is wrong it has 3. The third set will hit almost the second you hit virtuoso. So you have that to look forward to. Yay!
💠 About the sets of pictures. The first is not that bad, the second set is super hard and the third set once you get used to it is the easiest. The objects are a little bigger therefore not as hard to find. Moving on. Ways to throw the odds in your favor.

Here are some tips you could use any room.
1. How to avoid MATCH MODE, MORPHS, and DARK MODES. Anomalize your board and never play those modes again. Or as long as you can keep your board covered so you can throw an anomaly the room where these pop up. We have been doing this in Candyworld to not play MATCHMODE.
2. When a room is in DARKMODE use a Magic Lantern then take a screenshot. Pause the game look for everything at your leisure using only one Magic Lantern instead of 3 or 4. This will involve going back and forth between the game and your picture. No magic Lanterns slightly scroll in do a slow sweep of the room from bottom to top (more stuff is usually on the floor). Make note of where other objects are the best you can. Scroll back o…Read more >

1. I didn't remember the swan being under the first table so much before.
2. Things really like to hide around those statues.
3. The bell and candle(abra) are sometimes on the far right up towards the front of the screen.
4. The single arrow is much harder to find than the crossed arrows and for some reason when it on big and on the chair in the front is when we would overlook it the most.

Why do they call Memory Square, Memory Square?
Is it because of the statue of the founder of Darkwood in the Square? No.

What makes the Villa so hard?
1. The Villa has 50 objects to find. Each object has 6 places each they like to hide. That is 300 hiding places in total for each screen. Add to that each object also has an alternate image not including the ones for morphs mode and you get the picture.
2. The Villa favors MATCH MODE, DARK MODE, and MORPHS MODE.
3. The objects in this room are just tiny, semi transparent, and worst of all some of them do not light up in MATCH MODE to let you know if there is a match or not. Both of the symbols do NOT get the glow that s…Read more >
This article concerns MyTona as a company and their salesmanship/marketing abilities as it relates to the Seekers Notes game. Your author (DystopianMe... thank you, thank you... save applause and questions to the end please) is from the USA and will be using examples from the USA. I will try to make this understandable to those who may not have a free market tradition but am likely to fail at that. My primary purpose is to make it relevant to game play. Like it or not, how MyTona makes money does effect how you play the game whether you financially contribute to them or not.

Hi everyone, I just thought I would give a couple of general playing tips on how we race through rooms so quick.
1. We turn off the sound of the game. As soon as we did this quite awhile back, we noticed we hardly ever use flying times any more. Why? The music doesn't make us panic and use one before we need to. We have finished rooms and games with 1 second on the clock many times.
2. We always listen to music. Sometimes we make a playlist on Spotify other times we just listen to whatever we are in the mood for. It helps keeps us in a groove and not get bored in one room so much.
3. Even though we don't play with the game sound on, we do keep an eye at the clock on the top of the screen to decided if we want to use a eyeglass or other tool. …Read more >
The Darkwood Mine offers many 3 minute tours. One such tour is a "completely lights" out version where you are left to fumble around in the dark with nothing but your torch. Other 3 minute tours include "seeing double" where everything suddenly has a mate and "what the mist" where things change before your very eyes. Although other 3 minute tours are available these three are by far the most popular at the Mine. You can count on these tours multiple times a day. At the Mine visitors can also "gasp" at the sight of glowing fluorescent rocks in an array of blues to almost pure white. Glowing so brightly sometimes you can't see anything. While there is a bit of kitsch added to the adventure by playing seek and find in such conditions you can …Read more >

The sense of community is both the best and worst thing about this place.

- Newbies often feel like outsiders as it's a tight-knit group.
- The use of different names as user names, game names and real names is very very confusing, and I've even seen long-time members confused.
- Some members who at first appear nice... seem to have an agenda and treat the place as a popularity contest. They also seem to have deemed themselves the page's 'police force'.
I think the first 'bad' point can't be rectified as I think it's pretty normal when anyone joins a new community... whether it is offline or online... that they feel like an outsider at first. To this for…Read more >

What is Time Traveling?
Time Traveling is the process of manipulating the date on your device which will allow you to send multiple gifts, collect multiple desktop trophies and order/collect from the Forge, Inventor and/or Fortune Teller.
Time Traveling is NOT possible on the Kindle platform because there is no way to change the date on your device.
Before you Time Travel, be sure your counters for gifting are 0/???, all of your desktop trophies are sparkling, and you have "ordered" an item from the Forge, Inventor and/or Fortune Teller. I always have trouble when a quest calls for a certain anamoly. I copied the following from another users post so I could find it when needed. This is a response from MT on how to set up your locations so you have a better chance of receiving an anomaly where you need it. Note: As for Anomaly summoners, they cannot summon Anomalies in locations that already have Anomalies or in locations that are currently in Anagram mode ('cba' icon). If all locations on the map either already have Anomalies present or are in Anagram mode or in Novice level, you will get an error notice if you try to use an Anomaly summoner.
