  • I never signed out and now the wiki doesn't recognize Debwika. So my posts are all fandom users.

    • Thank you Gunsu, that's very kind of you to say 😀 the Wiki pretty much runs itself, with great contributors and editors and an active and helpful community.

  • I'm not trying to be Deb downer - but I'm really tired of the thread showing up for SN folks. I thought I saw some thread saying that they would have a few days to move their posts or something but it's still happening. Whatever can be done I'm sure most of us will appreciate the move. Thanks again.

  • Hey MeOhMy,

Is it possible for you to send out reminders that not everyone speaks the same language OR asks a perfect question? Why are these well established wika members allowed to talk so poorly to newer members? I have 3 coworkers who joined the game. However, they wont join wika because of the attitudes here. I recently had my feelings hurt and told in a RUDE PUBLIC "suggestion" how i should ask questions. How humiliating!! I asked a question. I explained my situation. He was so freaking rude and its PUBLIC! He 100% did NOT need to say that to me. We arent game friends... ive never talked to him before this thread. Im allowed to be treated so rudely?? Why am i not allowed to ask or answer the way i feel will explain what happened???

    • Hi TXCLOVER, I'm sorry to hear that you felt humiliated in the forums and that your coworkers think it is unwelcoming and unfriendly, that is the total opposite of what it should be.

If you're referring to the Eagle Eye thread, I just read through that and while DystopianMe's last post in that thread can come across as harsh and rude, he may have just have been trying to help.

As for asking questions, there is no right or wrong way to ask a question...just ask. So please don't feel that you can't.

Emotions can run high on online message boards such as these where everyone has an opinion on everything. Which often times lead to misunderstandings since we all have different ways of writing, some more straightforward than others. And the way we read comments can differ, as what sounds light and playful to some can come across as rude and demanding to others. So please try to assume good faith and best intentions whenever possible.

There is already a Forum Policies/FAQ located on the upper right side of the Forums page that everyone should read and abide by when using the Forums. I will leave a reminder on his wall about the policy.

    • I feel his suggestion should be removed. It was uncalled for, rude, and NOT asked for.

    • Sorry I'm running behind in noticing this concern. I will remover my suggestion. I value TxClover's participation here.

  • chamy is it possible to use hashtags or ampersats to trigger a message show up for a recipient? i.e. if I want you to see a post in a thread and am not on your wall could I add @meohmy or #meohmy and you would get a notification up above to look there?

      Loading editor
    • Not to my knowledge no, hashtags and the like are mainly for social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Just wall messages send notifications on Wiki.

  • Hello. I noticed someone posted some hints on the Garden location - for "Leprechaun Coin Locations." I would remove the hints myself, but am not positive - weren't they part of the St. Patrick's Day update earlier this year? Similar to finding black pearls? Thank you….

    • Yeah it was an early mini event during the 2016 St Patrick's Day update. It's never been repeated, thinking the Black Pearls mini event replaced it. Thanks Solver!

  • Thank You for your help last night. I will try to be more careful in the future. I like to joke and be playful but I guess some people don't understand my humor.

    • One post and I'm off forever.

Please imagine you are learning Hungarian, you find a Hungarian forum about a topic you like and you want to take part in conversations. You post something far from being perfect Hungarian to the best of your ability and someone else writes: She sounds as though she is drunk.

      How would you feel?

    • That's not what happened regarding the situation you are so bound and determine to referee. I responded that I didn't understand their response and then I took a guess at what was trying to be said and then I gave the poster a suggestion of how to let the company know directly what they wanted. And then I tried to make light of the fact that the company doesn't listen to me so telling me will not get the poster what they wanted.

I did that because I have seen other posts where people seemed to think MyTona is directly connected to this site. I'm tired of explaining myself. I shouldn't have to explain myself so much just to have a conversation with someone. It is making me uncomfortable having a conversation with you. I do not want to talk to you and am stating this as clearly as possible in order to avoid more confusion.

Stop trying to turn this around to make me feel that this is all my fault because I have no compassion for people that speak english as a second language. I already took as much responsibility for the situation as I'm going to in my opening post to MeohMy. A post you should have already read and understood since you are so determined to participate in this conversation. That is why you are being asked to leave me alone. Plus there are proxies and other ways to make an IP address look as if it is coming in from someplace it is not so this could all be a moot point because someone was simply looking to pick a fight with me. I have stated several times on this site that I have gotten the chance to know, work with and play games with people from all over the world. That is the 1st time anyone has so viciously attacked me (except for when someone else on this site chose to attack in a similar way for a similar reason) You would know that if you had taken a moment to get to know me. The 2nd reason you are being asked to leave me alone.

Again you did not read the original post which makes it insulting that you should feel the need to keep trying to go back and forth with me about this. That is another reason you are being asked to leave me alone. I have also asked that you leave me alone and you are choosing not to do so, which is a very rude thing to do and extremely demeaning. This is a 4th reason you are being asked to leave me alone. I am asking again. Please leave me alone. In front of a forum admin. I am a person and have rights just like you and the poster and I am clearly stating I don't want either of you to talk to me. Since that poster's rights matter so much to you, my rights should matter too and clearly, they don't. And now you have a 5th reason I do not wish to talk to you. Leave Me Alone.

      Thank You
