DO NOT LOOK AT THESE IMAGES IF YOU DON'T NEED OR WANT HELP LOCATING ANY OF THE HIDDEN ITEMS IN THE VILLA.
I am posting screen shots I captured and labeled of items in the Villa. A lot of players are having difficulty in there (including me!). I like the challenge but here are some shots if you want a bit of a leg up to try to save on some tools. Screen Shots 16 and 17 are full room views whereas the rest were taken while zoomed in.
Thank you 5sides! This is awesome and very much appreciated - a really big help as I'm just barely at sleuth and have resorted to just randomly tapping the trunk and shelf areas (ok actually everything) when I can't find something lol. 👍
I just entered Detective Level and it does seem to get harder. Each game there are about 3 pieces hidden very well. I thought if we could identify and visualize where they are it might stop the rampant waste of FT, Purple Flasks and Eyeglasses we are all using. I also noticed that my iPad game got "clearer" today. Even some of the items above are easier to see, less transparent, than yesterday. I wondered if they clarified some of the images OR if my game suddenly had the high definition aspect kick in. You might remember that the download was supposed to be optimized for our devices? I wondered if I got a lower res version up until today. They're still hard but not as hard. And I don't think it is just my growing familiarity. I will post a few more tomorrow.
5sides I think you are right. I just played the Villa three times in a row and not a single eyeglass, FT or flask was needed. The contrast and/or colour has been improved I think. Might try for the avatars now.

LOL!! - Me too! I just go blind and hope for the best and I know it's a lost cause when I get penalized too many times...---Laz
Here are a few more including a Pairs Mode (screen shot 22) game. Things to note: the grapes hidden on the shelves, the horseshoe on the couch, the mercury sign anywhere!, the gloves way up on the white crown moulding, the fork on the mirror....those are some particularly difficult ones to see while dashing around the room with a timer ticking.
The Villa is ridiculous at this point. I'm in the inviolable prohibition event and an not getting anywhere all of the sudden. I was doing really well at first but now it has stopped letting me find items. I have been in the villa 6 or 7 times again in a row, with plenty of time left, and cant find whichever last item there is as it's nowhere to be found. I get that the game people want to make money but this is crazy. I have spent some money to play but I guess not enough and won't be giving them more if this is what happens. I give up on the event at this point. Seems it was easy until I got to the sleuth stage. I even used the screen shots posted here and they were not in any of the indicated places. Oh well, just a game...
Don't give up on the game, only oon villa. I always try to get the amulet and then I decide if it's worth to get further, whitch is's not often. If I have some time to spere, I try it anyway, but there are a few other rooms that I definitly love
Carzang, I had a similar experience...I once couldn't find the final object and used a pinch on the screen to enlarge/zoom and where my thumb started out I inadvertantly must have hit the object as it flew during the pinch. I still don't know where the object was hiding LOL.
In ss an anomimous poster posted a very nice link with all the pictures and all the modes and all the hiding places. I looked for something similar for sn without any help. The only think is the experince, memory and your great shots. I must take the time and do screenshots every time before beginning to see if I can get the pattern into my head, it's a so difficult to search and I don't like the place, but something in me wants to go for the whole challenge. Maybe I should only play that room like ten times in a row and see if I get used to it? And I play SN on a 17" toutch screen, not on ipad - iphone ...
I did a fool thing and took some screenshot and paused my game to study the picture taken. That was a god idea as, after studing your screenshots I spoiled the things quite fine and played them really better than before. I have to play about 1000 more precious aigrettes and then I'll play all the way to the avi
Today the envelope was hiding on the shelves, far right corner unit. It was now brown against wood. This was a new one for me and I'm At 45% detective. At least at this point I can do 3-4 rounds without needing my purple bombs, 😂
Can anyone explain how the top player on the event leaderboard apparently has 100040 items from banishing? The next highest has 1756! I finished detective level today and have 233 which puts me around place 147.

Yes, I thought about how to create modified screen shots of just particular items which might help but I think the time I invest would be more than I have to give right now. i'm about to work the on the screen shots from yesterday to see if any of them hold hiding places not on the previous screen shots. The problem with doing a single scene with all the hiding spots for a single item is that for this challenge they seem to change a lot. i.e. more than six places for any given item. Correct me if I'm wrong on that but I feel like the lily has been in more than six locations whereas the mercury I may only know of four spots....
I think you are right, I found myself thinking the same.
I was thinking how it's possible to do something like the ss: shots here
But I don't know. In ant case that would be great. I have some screenshots too, but didn't have time to work on them. Now it's way to late for me and tomorrow I have to work
oh my, that is so awesome. I don't know what software was used to do this. I know I can use photoshop to make the various layers of screenshots and mask off anything not wanted in a layer thus resulting in multiple views of the same item in various places but I wish I knew what software was used here to create that silhoette bar and reflect the changes by choice. Can you write a note to this poster to see if they programmed this themselves or if they used a plug-in or software tool -- maybe some freeware out there I could snag?
Here are four more screen shots (including one Pairs mode) for SN Villa. The Lyre in screenshot28 is another tricky one. I thought I captured the cane in one of its harder locations but I don't see it so will keep at it.
That's a pretty cool site Carzang! It looks like it comes from the Japanese SS fan community. Hopefully they play SN too and do one for this game. I'd love it!! 😄 I think you have to know how to extract the clean room images from the game data itself to do this but it definitely takes tons of work! 👍👍
@5sides, you do a very god job. Thank you so much, without your help I would have given up on that pictore. I only wanted to shere that awsome work and would made it a progect if I knew how to do. A few more weeks to work and then I have 2-3 weeks off whitch I would dedicate at least to start with the pictures I love
Now I got the chest and 50 plays (and 500 angiettes) to go
It would be awesome to have something like what Carzang showed for the villa but the handmade screenshots are the next best and very happy to have them. It feels like they're addin hiding places and I wasn't the first person to feel that way. I'd like to see the Villa in that format for that reason also.
it's a nice screenshot in pairs mode and there are for exempel the vinil record on the border on side of the cat. After analizing the picture I got it done fine. Maybe some of you will use it to show where the things are, otherwise just ignore it. Unfortunatelly I have no time right now to work on it
I've started playing a bit like some puzzles. If I have a ways to go near end I scrap it. Luckily it doesn't cost a lot of energy. I'm doing in pace just 9-15 a day. I aim to finish just a couple of days before it ends (in case RL interferes). Every time I think I'm getting the hang of it I get a snap back to reality. This is one room I want to learn before it costs a lot.
Thanks, Carzang. I took a look and his/her scripts are way over my head but I get the gist. I was able to locate the individual "empty" room images on an old game but that one has very few rooms and cannot be upgraded. On an iPad you can't look at the files as best I can tell unless you do something that jailbreaks the device which I won't do...mine is still under warranty. It intrigues me, though. Somewhere around this home is an old PC one of the kids had turned into a media center (outdated now)...if I can find it maybe I could download the game and try to understand it all better. But then there is the issue of time ROFL. This sort of thing is so much more interesting than real life work.
Yep. At the end of next week, I'll take some time to go into it. I have already digged into the pc to see the files and looked at them. I have to look at the script and see how they are, I didn't open them.
